Prairie Creek Redwoods has always been one of my favorite spots in the redwoods.
Although it gets a lot of visitors, because it is off the main highway 101 now, it maintains a quieter pace.
The camp grounds are almost always full in season, but you can drive a couple minutes north along the old narrow hiway
and find a turnout with trails that will show you some beautiful old trees and even some peace and quiet...
